Preparing a Cabin for New Stain in Dallas, Georgia

This guest cabin is like something out of a Southern Living magazine! The problem is that after several years, the wood siding was absolutely covered in mildew. The owner was looking to restain it. Most of the original stain was completely gone from the wood, so it was pretty close to raw wood in most places. Prepping this cabin with a smaller pressure washing machine (like most painters use) would have taken hours. We were able to complete a house washing in short order. Once the painter saw the siding, he pronounced it ready for new stain!
